jimNC best thing is to go to a firestone and get lifetime alignment because when ever you touch anything that deals with suspension its best to get one. mine has already paid for itself and i haven't even changed anything out besides wheels and tires.

165 i think or lower i know one time is like 60+! but yea its really the best way to go because even swapping brakes can sometimes throw off alignment! someone on here told me before that bein cheap is fine with mods and crap but dont be cheap with anything that involves safety! I go to firestone but never buy their tires tooooo high!

I actually like how the G handles the road. I don't really mind the bumps too much

Eh, doing an alignment after brakes is way overkill. I don't think I'd trust a Firestone to do an alignment either. I think it would make more sense to do all the things at once that can (really) affect alignment, which means waiting, than to do alignments that often at a Firestone. That's my take anyway.

Still waiting to hear from anyone if an alignment is necessary after swapping the bushings on the compression rods? I can see that it might be required after every time the compression rods are removed and reinstalled.

You don't need to do an alignment after brakes because the suspension pickup points haven't moved. You'll just be throwing money away.

For compression rods, you might want to consider getting it done. It is not necessary, but since the mounts for the suspension have changed, it's not a bad idea to get it done.

If you're going to do compression rods, do shocks at the same time. You will definitely need an alignment then you won't have to get back into the suspension for a while. It's less wasted money in the long run.

Almost forgot, the Firestone here SUCKS. I had them do an alignment on my mom's Accord and although everything was 'in-spec', the they were barely in spec. Left front was on the high end, right front was low on camber. I asked them to get them closer, but they weren't interested in doing it because it was within spec.

I asked them if they ever wanted me to bring a car there again and they were kinda 'meh' about it, so I paid for the alignment and have since pulled 9 people away from them to get tires, brakes, or exhaust work done.

That's even in my book.

Go to a good alignment shop, not a place where a bunch of high-school dropouts congregate everyday and do just enough work to collect a paycheck.

Best of luck just NEVER take it to any "no offense" Mexican shops they dont know much about our rides and BS with em......thats just my experience tho!

i got my compression rods replaced today under warranty. the car still rides kinda rough, but the creaking noises are gone. i think these cars are just tuned to have a firm ride.

If you want to save money; stay stock, look in the classifieds on here. People are selling stock suspention at a good price ( better than buying from any business)
