I beat a Scion TC in my Chevy Trailblazer SUV..... on the track of course.

But no really, that was pathetic. Those things are slow as ****... takes a turboed one to even keep up with a stock G.

All show, no go. And the cockiest of guys drive them.

^ OK, now this is just turning into ridiculous "The G is the sh*t" kind of bashing. No, it doesn't take a boosted Scion to keep up with the G... With a few bolt-ons, those things barely walked my na EP Civic, and that thing kept up with stock 03 G35 coupe until 120+ without a problem.

That really depends on how boosted it is.
My cousin's had the TRD supercharger and the best time he ever got out of it was 14.4... I've seen a turbo (horrible install though) that wasn't fast at all, he had it on a dyno and it didn't even break 200hp
It wasn't running right though... I think the guy used to be a Honda owner and just figured he could slap a turbo on like it was a sticker or something

edit... also, I think Janik may have left to very crucial letterss off the end of "my Chevy Trailblazer"

Based on numbers off the Mustang dyno, both my EP and my G are pushing about 13, 14 lbs per horsepower (at least that's what I remember from when I had the charts still). Gearing on the EP is very similar to the G... from a stop, they both pull about the same to 100 (with the G being slightly faster), after that, the V6 has a slight advantage until about 120 where the inline 4 starts to lag. But in the twisties, the EP seemed to have had more power and built up revs a lot faster (either or I just revved it high as where I never run high RPMs in the G since the torque curve starts evening out already). The torque from the K20 was incredible! And from what I remember, a tC with Intake and cat back was similar to my EP, maybe just a bit slower.

Damn... now that I start thinking about it, I can't remember the difference because I remember taking the tC all the time with my G when that same tC walked my EP. But I also remember keeping up with an S2K with my EP, which pulls almost head to head with my G...

^The G35 isn't fast, but are you suggesting that a TC can keep up with one? G35 is a good 1-1.5 seconds faster through the 1/4 mile...

lol my friends old TC always got walked by hondas with bolt ons, in fact i beat his *** in my old 2001 AV6 4spd granny car... and comparing the AV6 to my G35 that thing was STUPID SLOW! so please dont say that it is a fast car, all i had was SRI in it, my buddys TC ran 15.6 at its best with intake and full tsudo exhaust, hence why he changed it for an IS300 even though he totaled it..

I wanna see proof that that is on stock internals. We can't even do that on stock internals and our motors are better built.

My bad. Not Atlanta. It was in Dallas. It first had 536 whp on stock internals in 2005 and then jotech motorsports built it to have 700+

I would still need to see prove that that motor put down 536 to the wheels on stock internals. Unless someone was playing with the dyno settings to make it show larger numbers.

Edit, i just looked it up. That 536 was on a fully built motor with some crazy fab work at 33psi on the turbo.

There's a boosted TC that had a magazine cover article that was making some crazy power on stock internals...I swear I'm not crazy.
