I just picked up a quart of Mobil1 Synthetic today.
I'll do this when I do my oil change. (very soon)

Probably drain via the hose underneath. I need to take the reservoir out and paint it anyway.

Thanks! After about two minutes into the video, I decided I would just go with the syringe or turkey baster method.

same here, my belts are all cracked. I bought it along time ago from nissan but I hope they are the right ones. I'll have to look for a How-to on the front belts

hey everyone, i went to autozone and the only thing he insisted on was the Castrol ATF made for imports to pour into my psw. Is this correct? I dont wanna stick the wrong thing in there. It doesn't say where its dexrone3 equivalent

It says it on the back. I put the same thing in my car yesterday. If you want synthetic I believe you can get Mobil1 from Pep Boys or you can get Royal Purple from Oreilly's.

^ air pocket?

you literally took the tank out? Too much fluid would not make noise, too little or wrong fluid might also if you created a air pocket that could be it too.

My suggestion, get the front end on jackstands, start the car, remove the PS fluid cap and turn the wheel lock to lock about 10 times and see if the noise gets away, gets louder or w/e and post back.

since i just got my 05 g35x with 58,500, i saw this thread n bought mobil 1 atf. now when i went to go change it through the tank i saw the fluid still looked pretty red. to me it still looked good and not all gunked up. i have no previous service records on the vehicle. should i change it anyways or let it be? and i also realized my turkey baster was to damn fat to fit.
