Well went to get my allignment done after having my coilovers installed.. Both front LCA inner bushings look like this, so there goes another $500+ into the car..

 

I think you can get polyurethane versions of these for cheaper.

 

Good call, Whiteline makes them.. got the bushings for $60 compared to the $360 for the new arms. Ya I started looking for the bushings but didn't look much further than the local parts store.

 

you dont need a new arm, you could just buy the bushing at the infiniti dealer(around $10). Have a shop install new bushings. Not that hard with the right tools. Had to replace my rear bushing. cost me around 140$ for one side.

My front passenger bushing looks the same and been like that for atleast 4 months.

 

dealer said that it doesnt break down past the a-arm.. ran into the same thing with my frontier for swapping the lower ball joints, dealer said it was a no go and i found a replacement.

 

i just did mine today with whiteline bushings, total time = 1hr car rides so smooth now.. good luck on the replacement

 

Heres where i got mine at.. 78.xx after shipping... i believe most suspension shops will charge you about 120 to install the new ones.. good luck

ya i got the exact same ones at the exact same place.. shipped out today.

 

can a bad bushing cause bad wheel alignment? cant seem to get my alignment straight.

 

yes it can, that is how i found out mine were bad.. went in for the allignment and they couldnt get it near spec and they spotted that.

 

looks like another opportunity for a DIY...

 

buddy i have the same problem i kind of N***er rigged it. and put two of these gaskets on the side so the arm is int he middle but you just gottta get the bushings ordered they should be 46 for 2 of them

 

Did you remove the control arms yourself and take them somewhere to have the bushings pressed in?

Also, does anybody happen to know if the bushings are the same for RWD and AWD?
