on my way to san francisco

so as i was arriving san francisco i ended up hitting a plastic trash can that was in the middle of the freeway, i did try and avoid it but there wasnt much i could do. it ended hitting my front right bumper and chipped and cracked some paint, but that isnt the worst.. by where the side corners are at, it made a 1-2 inch cut.. the damage isnt noticeable but i may end up getting a new bumper when i get my financial aid check

the funny part was that when i hit the trash bin it sent it to the side and a bmw took a full hit right on the middle of his bumper... lol

i will post some pics when i get back.. since im currently in merced CA

why are people leaving trash cans in the middle of the road?...tsk tsk. good thing there was that much damage although it'll suck buying a new bumper when that money could be spent on something else.

I saw a plastic bed liner for a pickup fly off a flatbed and land in the highway the other day. The volvo driving behind it drove right into liner. The car couldn't steer or brake. It was like a sled on the highway, luckily it slid to the side of the highway and no one was hurt. I really wish I had my camera that day.

Roads in the states are ****ED.

In Canada there's rarely big debris on the road.
