Anyone had this problem on their G35x

Hi,

I have a 2004 G35x with 19 inch coupe wheels with 245/40/19 tires. Today, I started my car and drove a few blocks than all of a sudden, the tire pressure warning light goes on. I checked the tire pressure at the gas station and everything seemed fine, no pressure loss.
I drove the car again and a few minutes later, the tire pressure warning light goes on. I kept on driving for a few minutes and then the VDC light, Slip light and AWD light goes on. I couldn,`t use the turn signals, my AC didn`t work as well as the tachometer. I could drive a little bit but when I accelerate, I could feel the rear wheels nudge, like it had posi-traction...
I turned the engine off and waited a few minutes before starting the car again. It did the same thing after a few minutes of driving.
Does anyone know what the problem is? Could the tire pressure sensor cause multiple problems that I have just described?

Any suggestions will definitely help

Thank you very much.

I've never heard of anything like that. Are you sure all 4 tires are the same size? It sounds like the AWD system is being confused which makes me think the tires are different sizes...

All four wheels are 19 by 8.5 with 33mm offset and with the same 245/40/19 tires. The tire pressure warning light goes off first and after a few minute, the other lights goes on. Does anyone think changing the tire pressure sensors will cure the problem?

Sounds like an eletrical issue. TPMS cannot be the culprit.

is the overall all diameter of your new wheels bigger than stock. if so that might be the problem.

^ it shouldnt be, hes got the right sizing. Sounds like he isnt even running them staggered??

Sliip/VDC/AWD almost always come on together, and it can be caused by a whole slew of issues. Mine, for example, was a ruptured wheel speed sensor. Do some searches around the forum to see what other members have experienced in that same sequence.

I made an appointment with the Nissan dealer so hopefully they can figure what it is.
