Art Pipes w/o muffler

So i just did a muffler delete and love the sound. before going through with it i found out my CATS may be going bad and was wondering what ART pipes would sound like and if they would make my car throw a cel when installed?
Also are there any major drawbacks to these test pipes?

While im at it does anyone want to sell theirs or know someone who does?

if i went with regular resonated test pipes since i dont have a muffler would i get some serious rasp?

You won't throw a cel with art pipes, however if your gonna spend money on art pipes you could get a decent axleback and hfc's if you search for them. From what I have read I would just stay away from test pipes all together

Well you aren't gonna gain power with no cats and no muffler. All you will do it shift the torque band higher up in the rpm range resulting in a slower street car.

While no cats and muffler sound cool, on a stock motored non-tuned car, it can hurt more than help. I've seen cars become slower due to the shift to the higher rpm where it isn't as street friendly. If you want (usable) power, HFCs and a quality muffler would be your best option.

Well what is your goal? If its pure sound then that is subjective.

If its power, then you need to rethink your exhaust strategy. You would make more useable power with HFCs and a quality muffler vs no cats and no muffler on a stock car.

im lookin more for sound. i kno that removing my muffler is not the best choice in terms of performance but will HFC's give me a deeper sound while not negatively affecting performance?
