Every time I start my car, put it in drive and hit about 10 MPH while applying the gas it makes like a cranking sound and then it sounds like a spring, and then it goes away. It only does it when I press the accelerator at 10 mph, anyone else experience this?

 

Multiple threads on this subject. It's the ABS self test. Perfectly normal and nothing to worry about!

 

see this post roughly ever 2 weeks lol sounds like a door stopper going "TWANG" right as it does its first gear change from 1st to 2nd? that would be the self checker

I seriously felt like a newb lol

 

Mine does it if I hit the brake pedal at the exact same time the abs does the self test. Kinda weird feeling

 

literally the exact same thing i was going to post lol

 

lol yep if u press down on brake while doing the test you can feel the test pulsing etc kinda unique feeling for the foot lol
