^Oh ok. I didn't know if you were just looking for one specific bolt size.

so i have been having this problem recently. when my car is cold, and i turn steering wheel to the left and making it go to the max like if i was going to make a U-turn.. the car starts to squeek back.. like a weird squeeky noise... and if i let go of the steering wheel and dont add any force it stops.. anyone know what this could be? the right side is perfect and nothing is wrong with that side.

Your over working the pump. Every car that has Hydraulic power steering makes a odd noise at absolute full lock

But squeaking is not normal, You might want to tighten your belts just a tad.

^grant replaced my belts, i may have to ask him to tighten them a tad.
so the loose belts would cause the noise then? i know that loose belts cause noise but i always thought the noise was noticed when the car would first be started.. not from like turning... and why would oit only be one side?

Great Thread idea! I have a RWD G with fairly new all-season Goodyear Eagle GTs. I'm wondering if I can fair well in light snow at freezing and maybe below freezing temps. Will it be too much of a problem?

Loose belts could cause that. The power steering pump will become more "stiff" when it loads up on full-lock. If the belt were just a little loose, it's possible that it may not slip until that extra resistance is added.
It's worth a shot anyway.

You might also try with the car sitting still, turning the wheel a little. Maybe even giving it a fairly abrupt 'jerk' to make the pump load up quickly and see if you get any squeak or chirp from the belt.

Hey, Silver9. I have the same tires (RWD too). They aren't too great. Granted, they're not the worst tire I've used in the snow, but be sure to put some weight in your trunk...maybe a couple sandbags. It will help...and...go slow.

my bad forgot to mention. it did this while my car was stopped and was cold. i also noticed that when i was backing out of my parking spot, it did it too.. it was running at very low speeds.
