I'd just get LEDmod or someone reputable to take it apart and either fix it or modify the colour scheme, great excuse to step into upgraded lighting.

I don't even want to know the price of one of those clusters, but I'd bet it's starting at $2000 and up plus labour to program.

This. Get it powdercoated or get some metallic spray. Gunmetal FTW.

Warranty should still cover this to something like 150k miles, maybe more.

im not sure about that bc i bought my car used and purchase an aftermarket warranty on on it.... I'm sure glad i did bc i ended up getting rear calipers, both head light ballasts, both seat heaters, master window controller, window regulator, driver side power seat bracket and driver side feet motor replaced!!! WTF!! hahah i just realized how much was done through my warranty.... bought my G used at 74,000K and bought the after market warranty for $2100 more.... damn I was smart to purchase that warranty man........ would of been broke!! oh and all of the parts and labor was done by Infiniti!!<life time warranty on parts.....

7-900 for a cluster is ridiculously cheap.

The soldering is the easy part, taking the cluster apart and reassembling it properly without messing anything up is the hard part lol.

Im surprised, what makes it hard? Ive found most of the parts on the car to be fairly well assembled.

You have to remove the needles and disassemble the entire assembly to access those LED's, this means calibrations, ginger fingers, etc, etc. Not like the old ones wher eyou just pop a new bulb in from the back

Some of them are, but almost all LED gauge clusters are not meant to come apart. And they shouldn't fail, but shyt happens. lol

okay so I've been researching radiators.... i really wanted the Mishimoto radiator/fan shroud combo but heard that mishimoto has fitment issues.... so I've been looking into KOYO radiators.... heres what I've found....

KOYO ALUMINUM RACING RADIATOR INFINITI G35 03-07 COUPE 03-06 SEDAN VQ35DE V2588

it says "Fits Manual Transmissions Only (for Automatic Transmission this will fit but External Transmission cooler needed)."

1) what does that mean??^^

2) does KOYO make radiators for A/T?

3) dont we have OEM transmission coolers already?

4) what kind of fan shroud can i get?

5) how much modification needs to be don't if KOYO does not make one for 5 A/T?

The OEM radiator has a small portion on the bottom for the transmission. They are saying they dont make that part. Its only for the Engine. So you will need to buy a Transmission cooler in addition to the Koyo

The Cooler on the OEM radiator is really just a warmer, you will get much better performance with a bigger aftermarket core.

so if i do decide to replace KOYO or Mishimoto id have to buy a transmission cooler as well??
