So I went to go get my 2003.5 sedan auto tuned today and found out that the 03.5 has a diff. plug than all the other g's, so i couldnt get it tuned. that was with uprev software, the guy who was attempting the tune contacted uprev and they said its not supported for 03.5!
I did not know this haha, anyone with a 03.5 tuned there car before?

Are you sure you have an 03.5 and not an 03.0?
(Doggy Door isn't the only 'determining factor')

03.0 Can have HIDs as an option.
Do you have an e-fan or mechanical?

The ecu part number is the determining factor not the mfg date, doggy door, fan or any other part that's may or may not be on the car. Some cars require re-pinning the plug, look on Uprev's site. You can also check if your ecu is compatible if you know the part number.

Supposedly, they're working on supporting the older ones as well (see the last few posts)

You can tell the difference by looking at them, go to uprev's site, look for the ecu support photo and verify which ecu you have, if it's the top one keep an eye on that other thread, if not find the can rewire pdf (also on uprev's site) once you change the pins your tuner should be able to hook you up.

There's no way to tell what the ECU part # is by looking at the ECU, you have to either call the dealer with your VIN (sometimes wrong) or verify it with Uprev software (always right). But like Peoria said, you can compare it to the pictures listed on Uprev's site and tell generally whether it is able to be supported or not.

If you have an 03 you WILL have to repin the OBD2 plug, look on uprev's site under support, they have a DIY posted. I've done it several times, its not too difficult.

Just bought an 04 G35x sedan and the driver window, for some reason, rolls all the way up but then rolls back down a little less than halfway. It only does this with the auto up function. If I roll it up with out clicking it all the way to the auto up function it will stay up, why is this? Is it supposed to be like that or is something wrong?

Well first of all I think this post is stuck in the wrong thread but it appears that you are new so I won't bash on you. This is the first sign of your window motor going bad. You can remove the door panel and window motor can be reset. There will be a button under a black sticker on the pan behind door panel in the center of the 3 window motor bolts. Once sticker is removed, roll window up manually by lifting up on switch but not lifting all the way up like when you auto up. Next press and hold button, while pressing button manually roll down window and hold switch down, release button on door, release window switch. Now manually roll window up. Now auto down and then auto up and that should take care of the window issue.beathorse
