It's supposed to move around inside the socket, hence the name "Ball Joint". You might want to find someone that knows a little about cars to help you with the install.

skyline?

So I have jus a good ol g35 lefthand drive like I'm sure many of you have. Now is it cheesey to put skyline badge on it? I know in japan they are called skyline 350gt but honestly I feel like its just not the same. I would love to have those badges but just don't feel right. How do you guys feel?

No problemo! You'll find you're not going to get anywhere fast asking others for opinions when it comes to mods. Some like the OEM look, some like crazy widebody super flared style body kits, some like hellaflush, etc. etc.

Do some researching, checkout the different build threads on this forum, and from there you'll get a pretty good idea of what you like! There's many different ways to take your car as far as mods go, and what it all comes down to is what you like.

Do you own a Infiniti G35 or do you own a Nissan 350GT? Those are the badges you should have on it.

It would be cheesy as most guys go about it the poverty way and stick on just the grille badge and some chit on the trunk and think it's "rebadged and JDM" Fully rebadging with Nissan badges ie, seats and radio and the different clocks and airbag covers or whatever is cool just cuz you actually pulled it off and that in itself isn't the easiest task...but at the end of the day it still says Infiniti g35 on your registration.
Oh and one other crucial aspect

The steering wheels still on the wrong side.

Wouldn't you also have to have the master cylinder and battery switch sides with each other?

Or just browse the forum, find a car you really like, and shamelessly copy it (Here's to you G35Papa )

Then I would ask why you would want staggered wheels? If you care about looks, you would drop the car at least a little bit, and if you were looking for performance, you would want a suspension or just better tires instead.

And by staggered wheels, do you mean larger wheel diameter in the back or just wider tires, maybe with a little more sidewall in the back? If anything, the staggered setup is because you need more traction to the drive wheels but don't want wider tires messing with your turning ability up front. If you don't have any traction issues, staggered wheels or tires may hinder performance or even fuel economy. So that would bring us back to the original question of "why?" It does look good, but you can improve the look of a stock G a lot more by just lowering it even just mildly, and using spacers to move the wheels outward a little bit. I am honestly not a fan of wheel spacers, but I must admit that it does improve the look of a stock G a lot.
