Exclamation HELP!! Major difference in Gas Mileage!!!

My coil on cylinder #5 was misfiring so I went ahead and replaced it, the gasket cover, and all 6 spark plugs with NGK Iridiums and I have noticed since doing so that I have a significant difference in gas mileage but it does seem like the car has more power? Any idea what could be causing this? I use Premium Gasoline and I just had an oil change/filter change early last week? What kind of oil should we be putting in these bad boys? I assumed they new. This is a 2003 G35 Infiniti Sedan that was gifted to me after I wrecked my truck!

Talking Hid headlights

Hey what's up guys? So I recently bought a 06 g35 sedan. I was trying to get a few opinions on what kind of hid kits look good. I know I wanna go all white. But I'm not real familiar with hid packages. I want something easy to install. Can I buy just the bulbs or what? Hit me with all your opinions..

Thanks! JASON

Trying to find new rims for my G35, I think I have!

Alright, I just don't know the name of the rims this guy has on his car, but I absolutely love them.

Here's the pictures.

Does anybody know what rims they are? Tried to get in touch with the person selling it, but I think it's a scam for sure.

New to me G35 Sedan, 100k mile maintenance?

Hey guys I just picked up an 04 G35x from the original owner. He had the window sticker and all the documentation. The car runs and drives great and the only mods are a remote start and a KN drop in. I have had more than my share of sports cars including a 500hp 05 GTO but I'm new to Infiniti. The owner kept up on the maintenance pretty well but I can tell it needs belts and has 100k on it.

What are some good things to check/replace at 100k miles?

I'm thinking spark plugs, belts, maybe a coolant flush?

Yes, all those things, plus I'd look at doiing a drain and fill of the transmission and the rear diff and the transfer case. Also check the brake fluid and steering fluid to make sure it's fresh.

The throttle plate is probably dirty as well. But read up on cleaning it cause it's a pain if you mess up the position and get the engine idle screwed up.

Just drive it. Much like the LS motor, the VQ needs very little maintence to run well.

Drive it and enjoy it for what it is.

Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get a quick reply out of this because my car is a DD and it's worrying me.

So just a few minutes ago I was at a gas station, tried to shift into park and the "N" started blinking on the dash. Tried it again and same thing, so I put it in neutral, shut the engine off and pumped gas.

This has happened only once before but I shifted off from park and shifted it back and it was fine.

So now I'm home and it's doing the exact same thing. I don't know what to do, my car is currently in the garage in neutral with the keys in the ignition. (I'm too scared to leave it in park)

Quick replies would be greatly appreciated!

L/R ****...

This is going to sound dumb, and I hate that THIS will be my first post as a G35 owner, but I searched the internet along with these forums, but all I could think to search was "L/R ****", because I have know idea what it does... That's why I'm here.

I bought a 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan 6MT, and I love it so far. That being said, there is a little **** just left of the steering wheel that has an adjustment of about a 1/4 turn to the left (I'm assuming that's what the "L" means) and a 1/4 turn to the right. (Again, assuming that's what the "R" stands for. Can someone tell me what this feature is, and what I'm doing as I am mindlessly adjusting it searching for it's purpose....? Thanks. Glad to be on the forums, and thanks for taking the time to reply.

-Willie.
