Thanks hahah I've had the car for about.. 1 year and change and I've only begun posting in this forum. Lurking around was what I did for the past months.
I'll be out of that club next March. :P

Haven't checked the tranny fluid yet, but I'll do it ASAP tomorrow.

Is a transmission flush recommended for an 03 sedan 5AT with 83k miles? Or should I just drain and refill instead? also how often should this be done?

^NEVER FLUSH THE TRANSMISSION! I've heard way to many experiances of that messing up a transmission, and a well trusted transmission shop in the area is VERY much against transmission flushes.

Just do a drain and fill, drive 100mi, drain and fill, drive 100mi, drain and fill and you're done.

circle 1 or 2?

1 are flex pipes (or whatever they're called)
2 is kinda hard to tell from the pic, but looks like a resonated h-pipe?

You realize that exhaust won't fit the sedan, right?

At 39k I did a flush using the tranny pump. It was done courtesy of the dealer and they never had an issue they said, everything is fine. I think at 60k Ill do the drain and fill method vs the flush.

More importantly, I need to buy a Magnafine filter for the tranny as our trannys do not have one!!

At first, you install it and leave it for 15k then 30k after that. They are like 30 bucks. Bythabay installed one on his car. Just not sure about installation lol
