As the title says, I hear the clicking sound when I step on Brake in Park and ignition is on after bleeding Brake fluid in my 2003 G35 sedan. This is my first time, the fluid is still clear. I did not notice I had the click sound before the work. the clicking seems to come from instrument panel.

the odd thing, I did my wife's Odyssey last week, the same clicking sound too at the same scenario.

Other than this clicking sound, both cars drive normal, brake is good, and NO clicking sound when I brake during driving.

What is it? anyone??

 

Shift lock in center console release? Does it when you step on the brake tp allow you to shift out of park.

 

yeah, it does come from center console. in Odyssey, from the shift handle on steering when I step on Brake paddle.

How come I hear it only after I did brake bleed on both cars???

 

Prob when you just started to notice it.


It should have done it since the day the car left the factory.
