Re: Anyone think the VQ35 has enough power for you

I know there's always more power.. but honestly, for city driving I think the G35's power is maybe even a lil overkill I love gunning it, except when I see my gas needle drop. I sure hope my mileage improves.. I only have about 3800 right now and it just stinks!

Don't worry, I've got 47K and I get about 16 in the city. Much
better than the 13 I used to get before she was broken in!

14 wire Grounding kit, Z Duct, Stillen HF/AB
Underbody rear diffusers, Drilled alum pedals,

Get an m5 if it aint enough - apparently is does 200 and pulls to 100 in about 10 seconds and pulls at 160 like it does at 60. 10,000 rpm!

I would like about 20 more horsey's but I am not williing to put up with the headaches of getting them so I will be content with what I have now.

Re: Anyone think the VQ35 has enough power for you

I have all the power I want.

But I'm not in a contest with other people about HP.

In fact, I would have given up 20 or 30 hp for an extra 3-5 mpg.

kevin.. I'd be 100 percent behind that one too.. MPG is a lil more important to me than 20hp since I'm planning on keeping this car for the long haul.

Haha, More is always better (for me) and "too much is just enough", but the headaches that can come with the 'extra' can be troublesome.

I like my G with a few 'sane' mods and putting down about 300 at the crank.

Still enough to have fun with, but not too much to get in trouble with.

Works for me.
