Compression Rods Sedan vs Coupe

I found a great deal on a set of new compression rods but they are for the coupe. What exactly is the difference between the two? The only thing i notice is some have a stud which prevents it from hitting the back of the knuckle.

They all have that stud. I owned a sedan once and now I own a coupe and really don't know the difference since they both looked the same to me.

When I replaced mine noticed they were different part #. Never had both to compare so not sure if they are interchangeable. But, they have to fit within the specific geometry of the suspension and I was too afraid the good deal would turn into me paying twice to do the repair.

Why dont you just take it to a dealership and compare it the the OEM, thats the only way to make sure..

Guys, how come there are cat-backs... but no dog-backs? lol

Unless is an AWD X Sedan, then they're not.

More accurate is 350Z & RWD G35 are all the same.

The AWD ones are steel, painted black.

RWD ones are forged aluminum
