wheel inquiry

I'm looking at buying a set of tires and wheels and was curious if someone could help me with the fitting. I have an 06 Infiniti G35X sedan. The following is the sizing info:

Finish: Gunmetal
size: 18 x 7.0
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 42mm
Center Bore: 73.2mm

Thanks

No idea on the center bore, but the rest of the specs would fit fine. The stock wheels on the sport model were 18"x7" with a +45 offset. If you wanted them to sit more flush with the fenders you would need at least 10-15mm spacers though.

OP, they will still fit, but I'd get at least 18"x8".

you'd need some major spacers. 7" is way skinny

Do not get the rims, 7" is too narrow. Get something 8 or 8.5" wide

well heres the deal. I can get these at a ridiculous price, and have access to 4, 2 inch CNC Precision Machined 6061 Billet Aluminum spacers. this would put them at 9". But I've read that spacers too big can cause problems with bearings and cause other issues. Is this correct?

No matter how big your spacers are, the wheel is still going to be narrow. Not only will it not look that great, but it will limit your tire selection to a pretty narrow treadwidth.

Like I said though, spacers will help push them out to be more flush with the side of the car. If you're going to get them, I think 15mm or even 20mm would be okay. A 2" spacer is huge.

Get wider wheels, not huge spacers
