B-pillar rust

So apparently the rust on the B-pillars is normal for these cars. I want to change the pillars but i'm not sure where i can get them. Dealership will probably charge me up the *** for them. Anyone knows of a good place where to order them?

I found alot of those covers/stickers but that really wont fix it. I also dont want to get them chromed would rather the plain black.

I've read somewhere that these are just clipped in place. A body shop would probably cost more then just buying new ones. But I'll check that route as well.

If the rust is coming from the inside of the door out through the B pillar then go to a dealership and they will probably cover it under the rust warranty. I had a door replaced for free by infiniti due to rust.

BUMP - djkace77 is on the right track with this direction.

I have a sedan and had all 4 doors replaced complete (well not the door panels) but the complete door shell including the B pillar.

Only 2 'qualified' but I pushed for all 4. Perfect fix, and near perfect match... nothing is 100%, but you would never know

The warranty was extended to 10 years specifically for rust on this area as it is a common issue. I already had mine replaced once and there's signs of slight rust again in this area. I had all 4 door shells replaced at the time. There's a TSB or bulletin that mentions the warranty being extended for it. Do a search on this forum, there was a thread about it as well

I believe the warranty extension applies only to the door pillars and door frame area as there is an issue with them. For your fenders, maybe if it falls under the standard 7 year warranty, but they will say it's not covered if it's from a rock chip

Yeah... I too doubt the dealer will do anything about it but it's sure worth a try!
