Want to replace sedan headlights: will these work?

http://www.1aauto.com/1A/HeadLights/...65/263177/2003

I found these online, aftermarket but OEM looking (not the blacked out type)

Now I ran into many issue with my driver side headlight housing and want to replace, and figured replace both sides to new for not much money.

Thing is, these are listed as Halogen and not HID / Xenon type.

Is there any difference in the Halogen housing vs Xenon? I believe the only difference is the ballast etc... on the outside, but the headlights are the same.

What exactly do you need for your headlight? I have a few parts from a pair of headlights Ian gave to me a long time ago

I need the drivers side low beam chrome reflector piece, possibly the headlight clear plastic cover: but not sure:

This weekend I plan to take the headlight apart to see exactly what I need to replace.

Any input?

I have a feeling that the halogen ones listed have some sort of different reflector inside that will work against my oem hid kit... But not quite sure.

Headlights are not the same for halogen vs hid. If you get a halogen housing, you won't be able to run your oem hids. The bulb mounts are different and the focal points are different causing the reflectors to need to be different. In fact, the halogen headlight glares badly when aftermarket hids are used

@ Rated G, I def have the chrome/silver reflector piece, should be in good condition as I didn't use this from the headlight.

It's not too hard to bake open the headlight and swap that piece out if you wana go that route, you can have it for free if you want to pick it up

@ G Spot...the clear lens I swapped them out with my headlights because my original ones were trashed by the previous owner (he put something abrasive on them and wet sanding/polishing wouldnt even help cleaning them)
