I think you're confusing "intake"

We're talking about the intake plenum being ugly. You won't fine a nice aftermarket intake manifold for $350. Your only options at that price is a plenum spacer (just posted) and to either paint/powdercoat the existing plenum, or get a polished one.

I assume you're talking about the intake duct/tube and filter box. (ie cold air intakes, etc...)

If that's what you're talking about, almost none of them make any significant hp gains, and some will actually perform worse than stock.
Also, that's a frequently rehashed subject, so either ask in the random little question thread, or just do a little searching. And whatever you do, DON'T start a thread about it
