Isn't it the other way around?...Strafe seems smaller.

strafe lip is smaller. It's really not that hard to notice.

The HD trunk has a larger/taller lip, more "curvature" to the lip that the Strafe trunk. Just an FYI, the Strafe one also comes in a non-doggy door version. I've seen both in person, they both look great!

Good point Law. I should have noted that the HD trunk I posted isn't the production version, its a modified OEM trunk. The production version takes some work in order to get it to fit properly and even then it won't 100% line up. From what I've seen the same is true for the Strafe trunk. See pics below, the reverse lights don't line up perfectly with the tail lights (sits a tad higher).

It is the same product from the same mold. As far as fitment and quality the front will need work to fit properly, also quality of the bumper could be better compared to others. Other than that you would be purhasing the same product from both of us. Only difference would be price and customer service.

Marcus, aren't the Strafe trunk pics you posted just the version 1? I thought I saw some pics of the Strafe version 2 (deluxe) trunk, and it looked very similar to the HD trunk. I could be wrong, though!

Yes the pics I posted are of version 1. The lip is the same on the Strafe version 2 trunk. The difference is it doesn't have the doggy door as I pointed out in my first post.

Right on. The missing doggy-door on the V2 Strafe was obvious. I just thought the V2 lip looked more like the HD lip...seemed a bit bigger than the V1 lip in the pictures I've seen. I didn't realize that the V1 and V2 lips were the same.

Strafe has V1 and V2 of their trunk, same size lip. They also sell the HD trunk under the name "Dlxe"

Strafe V2 Trunk (same as V1 trunk without doggy door)

"Dlxe" trunk that Strafe sells is the exact same as the HD trunk
