Why does the manufacturer state that synthetic oil should not be used in the 2006 g35
Hey Guys,
Can someone tell me why the manufacturer - NISSAN says not to use synthetic oil in the g35? I have a 2006 sedan..
Does anyone also know a credible place to buy OEM parts. I need a rear and front bumper and a passenger, rear quarter panel.
Thanks!!!!

Do you have the rev up engine (manual trans)? They might say not to because it is more likely to cause oil consumption. I know that at least the first few oil changes shouldn't be synthetic on the replaced rev up motors.
I too would like to know exactly where you read that???
I found out that some manufacturers actually recommend only using synthetic oil.
I've heard stuff about "breaking in" an engine on conventional oil before switching to synthetic, but my cousin's G8 came with synthetic oil right from the factory

^ hmm, I know the dealers near me sell 120 buck Synthetic Oil Changes. So If it was advised not to use synthetic then why do they sell it?
I been using Syntec for over a year now with excellent wear results and no problems.
