Valentine One goes when GPS is up..

Hey so I noticed today that whenever I pop my GPS up, my Valentine One goes crazy and makes a constant alarm and wont stop until I pus the GPS down again. I have my valentine one hardwired under my rear view mirror.

Has anyone heard of this happening? Any suggestions? Its really frustrating not being able to use my GPS and my radar detector.

Thanks!

I had a Passport 8500 start doing that.. I returned it to BestBuy and got a 9500.

Time to sell the relic and get a Passport.

That sucks, doesnt seem like the issue could be solved because your radar is obviously detecting your GPS. Im sure the Radar detector companies would have thought about this though. Hopefully someone whill chime in.

I had the exact same problem with my 8500. And the old 7500 that the wife uses.

My valentine one, however, never falses with the GPS on. Maybe you should send it in and get it updated? One of many nice things that make that so-called "relic" far better than the passport junk is that it's infinitely updateable.
