This may be a dumb question but I took this stuff out about 6 months ago and I couldnt figure out how it went back in.. Is there a DIY or something haha..


Its just been sitting in my trunk for 6 months... I think its time to put it back lol

 

lol. Take off the carpet lid, wind the jack down, place it in (left bottom) wind it back up in place to keep it snug.

 

wait this doesnt go in the cubby on the left in the picture?? it goes down where the spare tire is?

 

Put tire in, place on top of tire.

 

No, you kinda have to work it into the elft side cubby in between those metal bars. Just fiddle with it until it fits into the cubby. It is kind of a weird setup.

 

well i wish i could help, but the coupe is different. If u are facing the trunk it goes in the cubby on the right.. u have to lift up the carpet.. as dude said, screw the jack down and then screw it back up until its tight in place

 

you are all saying mixed things.. Wannabe said left cubby and some of you are saying goes under the carpet with the tire...

Mine is on the left in the cubby. It fits in their perfectly.

 

Hmmm i don't see it.. I think I'm going to look at anther Gs trunk to see how it fits in there

it goes in just like you set it up on the ground, after you get in there, you jack it up a little bit until you can't go anymore.

No on sedans is on the left cubby.

1st. Collapse the jack as far as it will go.
2. At a angle (around 60degrees) aka ( \ ) Slide it in.
3. When its in the cubby while holding it with one hand, open it so that it fits snug and wont move.
4. Close cubby hole
5.Dance around and do the macarena

 

No dancing here I vote let's see a YouTube video of someone taking it out and in lol
