You need to tape off the emblem and spray the inside part and the part around the outside matte black.

yeah, i'll do that...right now the clear is still wet so gotta wait until it's fully cured to be able to do any taping or painting...now just gotta get the grill done and it'll look much nicer

^Indeed.

My IP emblem is a little loud for some, but I really like the look of a DG emblem on a matte black grill.

still debating if i should spray the grill flat or satin finish...i'm leaning toward the satin, just so it doesnt look like a chalkboard...all this while i anxiously await the arrival of my suspension...i cant wait to drop my car

Welcome aboard...Nice G. Luv the Lude...reminds me of a Sylvia with the black roof. Miss the days of modding Hondas/Acuras, use to be a Sports Compact Car and Super Street junkie. Modded Civic with B18, then modded a GSR sedan, then modded a TL-S with Comptech supercharger. I guess I grew up a bit and decided to buy a car to just be cute in instead of trying to go faster LOL. Enjoy the new G, hope the mod bug doesn't get you to bad...wait your a member here so it will!

You know I change my oil the same way, I took my jack and lifted the rear up and nothing else major came out just a little thin stream for a sec then dribbles.

Maybe you need to level it before you start draining hmm.

i was looking thru ebay for the wing, but there are so many options...i know there was a thread showing how there were different versions with slightly different lengths and some needed curving..any shots of yours to see how it sits and did it already come painted?

Two small ones.

One little trick you can do though is pull the emblem, break off the pins, and shift it down just a bit to where the top part of the emblem covers the two holes.

Makes it look a little more centered with the "I N F I N I T I" lettering gone.

As far as projector retrofits go, there's actually a good deal of info on that around here.

Check out: ttrank, CandlestickPark, and G SEDAN, just to name a few.
Don't forget 4drmadness!! His interior is wicked.

Nice prelude OP. I can see you'll be taking the G35 in the right direction, and wouldn't be surprised if you end up being one of the many super clean G35 sedans here.
