Another would you buy this G35 question, but this time it's different
I COULD keep the corolla. But then I'd have to pay the full $12,500. I was planning on selling the Corolla for $9000 and just paying the $3500 difference in cash. Also I'd have to pay insurance on both. Blah I hate dilemmas. I'm going to have him take his car in and have the plugs checked for oil from the valve covers.
Jump all over it.
Oil on spark plugs isn't nearly as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be.
My #6 plug well was probably a good THIRD FULL of oil and it hadn't caused any misfires, etc....
And if you do have the problem, don't think it's an expensive fix. You can DIY for just under $100, and it's not a hard job.

For $3,500 bucks difference, if you can sell the corolla, I'd do it in a heartbeat. The extra $ you will spend for gas and insurance won't wipe the smile off your face. My 06 'X' gets about 18mpg city and close to 25mpg highway. It isn't close to the corolla but common dude........you'll be rollin in class. To me, the price, maintenance and low miles (along with the grin on your face) make this one a no brainer!
