Hmm I did replace my steering wheel at one point cause the other one was old and nasty could I have turned the steering wheel sensor by accident?

Maybe but if there is a grinding noise my guess is the wheel bearings. U should replace them at 100,000 miles

Check your brake fluid and make sure the fluid level is not low.


+1 I'm pretty sure I had this happen a few years ago and it was just low brake fluid from the pads wearing. But I'm just going off memory...
