$500.00 for Clear Bra?

I was quoted 500.00 for 3m Clear Bra and install. Does this seem like a fair price?

Thanks

What are they covering for the $500? That's about what I was quoted ($480) for the hood, headlights, mirrors, and rear bumper. Front bumper was somewhere around $240 more. Shopped around at 3 other (I would say local but more like 2 hours away) installers, and prices were about the same, maybe a little lower. Curious if anyone's getting it for lower (this is in Raleigh NC)

Re: $500.00 for Clear Bra?

My coupe was done for $650. Hood, lights, bumper, and mirrors. At a recent G35 meet, I noticed my clearbra goes up the hood more (ie, more protection) than everyone else's.

My installer used Llumar and a kit from Xpel. You can see the kits on their website. I chose Llumar over 3M and VentureTape because it seemed to have less orange peel than the others. Plus, when looking at just the tape in the air, not on the car, it is clear, vs. a semi-opaque look to the other tapes.

This kit is from Xpel but with the new 3m (less orange peel than old). It covers the front bumper, hood, mirrors. I can have the lights done for 50.00 extra.

So this price is probably pretty reasonable?

Sound good to me, although I'm not sure what the going rate for sedan kit installs are. I heard the new 3M material is better than the previous version.

One thing is that the clear bras get dirty fast and they look awful when dirty! gotta wash the car more often

try Novus #1 for cleaning, works great and repels dust/pollen. guess it gets rid of the static charge.

if you are having it installed it almost doesn't matter what the price is. What matters is how well it is put on. Take a look at the persons work, if it looks good then go for it!

I picked up a bottle at a motorcycle shop. I am sure you can find the stuff online too cheaper, though not sure where
