Not good! I left the old oil which had approx 2k miles on it in the car...I'm sure it is dirty and gummed up a little. What can I do besides draining it and adding new? Would it be best to drain/fill with new oil and run it thru for a couple hours then drain/fill again? Only 6 months I wouldn't worry too much. Just get it changed soon and carry on as normal. It will clean up fine.

Unless someone can drive the car and get everything warmed up to temp properly, this is a bad idea. This is how condensation forms inside the exhausts and rusts it up. Also not getting the oil up to proper temp can have harming effects as well. Idling will not get it up to temp enough.

It's better to let it sit for 6 months to a year and keep battery on trickle charger vs weekly idle only starts.
