Wiper Fluid Issues

No fluid is coming out of the wipers. When I open the hood I hear the pump sort of like a whining noise. I already put a needle in the small jets on the wipers to clear them and when I take off the small tube that connects the water line to the wipers I am able to blow in them and they seem clear, so I know from my wipers to the jets it is clear. I traced the line from the water tank to the wipers, atleast the parts I can see. I see fluid in the line. almost directly behind the center of the engine I can see the water line break into 2 lines and then each goes to one wiper.

Anyone have any ideas on what i can do?

Under your battery cover, there is a little white inline filter or checkvalve (not sure which)

Pull it loose from the side that goes to the tank, and get some one to run the washers. Make sure fluid comes out.
If not, there's a problem with the pump, reservoir, or line before that point. If you get good pressure, then the problem is either the filter/valve, or the tubing beyond that point.

If I had to wager a bet, I'd say the line is pinched either under the battery cover or cowling. That was the problem with mine.

It doesn't take much to pinch off that hose.

thanks for the suggestions. I opened the battery cover but couldnt find the line. Do I need to pop open the area around the battery to access this line.

I had my windshield replaced 2 weeks ago and since then it has not worked. Not sure if it is a coincidence or not, but it worked fine before.

^I'll bet it's pinched under either the battery cover (talking about that entire piece, not just the door) or maybe the plastic cowling.

All that stuff is actually pretty easy to get apart. Just start removing push clips, and you'll see how it all comes apart.

same thing happened to me, I removed the "check valve" and replaced it for 1.88$ from autozone. It works again. Trust me, that sounds like an easy fix, due to this check valve.
