FLAG35:
What "shift sensors" in a manual transmission??
Never heard of such a thing - I call BS to that service rep!!
Anybody know anything about an "electronic lockout" of our MT's, or a "sensor" ??

Re: 6 MT - Synchronizers Not Right
I have only 1,600 miles on my 2004.5 6mt and I can say my tranny is not right. Sometimes it grinds when shifting, when the clutch is in. Other times it won't go into 3rd, usually when shifting fast. Also, mine will not allow me to down shift until the RPMs are below ~3,000 RPMs in the lower gear, it is really frustrating when downshifting at lights. Is this normal? I have had many manuel cars and I know how to drive, but this stinks... I looked at the TSBs and found nothing regarding my tranny, any thoughts?

Re: 6 MT - Synchronizers Not Right
I now have my 3rd tranny in my 03.5 6mt sedan. This is by far the best tranny yet. I watch other g35 sedan 6mt owners shift their car and I can see the notchiness in their cars. I cringe everytime i see my buddies shift their cars. My cars shifting is perfect in every way. It never grinds and I have had this tranny for about the last 12000 miles of the car. I don't know that I feel comfortable giving out my vin # and stating that my cars tranny has been replaced, JUST in case it hinders me from selling my car further on down the road.
