Glad to see that ur ok. Sorry to hear n see about the car. From what it looks like man. Our cars crumpled.easy. you may be looking at a new hood fender bumper if the headlight tabs are broken then new lights to. They will also look at radiator and.radiator supports and housing once bumper is off. I a bender at 8mph and there was 6k in damages. But the body shop was cool and upgraded me to 06 headlights. For some reason I forgot to ask for a 05+ sport bumper. Brain fart I guess. Work or talk with them when they estimate you. My body shop was in redmond. Jeff question totally unrelated. You know a guy named ankit who.works a vmmc in.Seattle. bday this Friday ???

Ohhhhh bummer.... though kinda not.
You weren't hurt, and you'll end up coming out ahead.
Here's how I did it.
I have a friend that manages a body shop. My car was drivable, so I left it at his shop and told the insurance adjuster I wanted to meet there so that we could put the car on a rack and check for hidden damage underneath.
Turns out it was a good thing I did it like that because the damage to the front bumper wasn't immediately obvious from above, as it was torn on the bottom.
The adjuster spotted the tear and goes "Oh, look at that! Looks like you'll need a new bumper"
Needless to say, I was floored
Anyway, the insurance adjustment had the price of each replacement part broken down, and I told my buddy that owns the shop that I wanted to get some of the parts myself.
Sometimes, the insurance will try and pay the body shop, or cut the check to you and the body shop, or some BS like that.
I had them cut the check to me only, and then deposited it.
So anyway, each part that I bought myself, I subtracted the value of off the estimate.
I also looked around for OEM parts on ebay and was able to find one of the doors cheaper than the estimate, so that helped to offset the extra cost of the bumper.
One way you might be able to pull off something similar is with the ebay headlights.
If the shop is willing to let you do the same thing, a pair of those lights will be a LOT cheaper than what the shop will have to pay for OEM lights. and they'll already be black, so that will look nice.
Also, if you already have a Nismo bumper, just have the shop paint it.
The estimate will pay for a new bumper AND the time and materials to paint it, so if you're supplying the bumper, they can at least knock off a couple hundred.

body shop called and said it was $3,000+ for the stuff she visually saw. Might be more after the teardown.
But she said he would work with the parts I had. (Nismo). She said they would have to look at the parts first which is understandable. I looked at my bumper again last week and it's mint. If my car was black, I'd would have just installed it. There wasn't even any scuffs at the bottom of the lip.
