Thanks. I haven't even been to the bodyshop to show them my parts and to get a 2nd quote for the extra work.

I never had a MKIII though. Sorry.

Ugh. the cost to fix the rear bumper and to paint the lowers is $1700 extra! funk that.

I might try to find a 05 rear. Any one have a pic of a 03 with a nismo front and 05 rear?

Nice thanks. It might be alot cheaper just to get the insurance work done + the nismo front. Then get the sides/ rear done later. Because that seems way too expensive

^Yeah, that's way way too much.
I got it done for a LOT less (granted, the shop's manager is a friend )

And yes, I'm a "close enough" approximation. HikkataDori front + 05/06 rear + splash-guards
Nice looking out Marcus and Wayne.

Here's a couple mo-betta pics:

Oh thanks. You have the non sport sides too right?

How's the paint holding up w/o the spashguards?

^That's correct.
I wouldn't mind a set of Nismo sides, but that will be later. I have more pressing needs LOL.

The paint on the very front part (the part inside the wheel well) has taken a beating, but the rest of the side skirt is perfectly fine, even way up by the front tire.
It's just that part that actually goes inside the wheel well itself that's damaged.
I'm thinking I just need to mask it off and paint that black anyway.

Where did you source your 05 bumper stuff? Do you need all the guts too or just the skin? Looks like we need the black lower that's right in front of the cover also?

^eBay for the bumper
Skin and license plate holder + those lower parts you were talking about (FSM calls them "mudguards" even though they aren't )
The foam underneath may have to be trimmed a little.
I got the "mudguards" from a junkyard on ebay too.

Here's more details: http://www.nfspmotorsports.com/forum...php?topic=28.0

I think that's the way I'll go.

I dropped off the car today. Hope they don't screw up the nismo install/paint. It is really a mint black nismo bumper.

I have 05/06 splash on the front of my 03, but splash won't fit the Stillen rear lip I have. What I did to avoid the chipping issue was to use heavy duty 2" wide black vinyl on the portion of the lip that's within firing distance of rocks and debris. My car drove through a pretty brutal Midwest winter and the vinyl is unscathed.

Wrapped my grill in black vinyl too. It holds up far better than the black paint did.

Dave, I printed your instructions and gave them to the bodyshop. I don't know if they have access to this type of instruction so thanks!
