Cool New paint?

Thinking of getting the G painted. What's the opinion on matte(flat) black around here?

Taking suggestions for colors, and where to get it painted.

Thanks!

Well Heist pretty much wrote the book on matte black G sedans.
Others have done it, but nobody has done it as well.

I'm envying Heist. Especially due to the fact that he pretty much did it all DIY. I actually posted this thread hoping for some suggestions and now that I've seen Heists, I'm definitely going to do matte black. Although, I'm quite sure it's going to be pricey.

An alternative (that's yet to be done) would be a matte blue pearl.
For example, here's Daytona Blue (from the Z) in a satin/matte finish:

fyi any color can be done with a matte finish. It just requires a flat clear. Heist used a single stage matte black from sem. dupont also has the same thing but cost twice as much. Flat clears are expensive as it usually requires the clear, reducer, activator and flattening agent. Depending on ur area a full respray with jambs and all will run anywhere from 2-4k

For $2200 you may as well have the car painted...

Go a different color. Something out of the box would be cool
