Thanks for the kind words guys. Thankfully I am uninjured, the g35 is definitely a safe car.

=( so sorry to see this, Nat.

Everyone else is right, though. Your car can be rebuilt, reworked, and remade. You, on the other hand, cannot. Well, unless you wanna be the million-dollar-man..."We can rebuild him, we have the technology".

If we're gonna start callin dibs on the man's car already...I got dibs on the bent up CE's

Hey Nat! Damn sorry that happened... I drove back to the Bay in my sedan too... **** was all too scary. Going hella slow thru the grape vine and I kept thinking I was gonna spin out. I saw about 4 spin outs with major damages.

They were at about 4/32 with a little less tread in the inner sidewall.

Waiting to hear back from the body shop for total estimate. Kinda hoping it's totaled kinda hoping it's not

Does anyone know how insurance works in regards to the wheels? Do they take into account the cost of my aftermarket wheels or will they only pay out for the cost of oem equipment?

Anyone interested in a pop charger and access port? Those were the only things I had time to remove before the car got towed this morning

This is really interesting as I was talking to my mom and dad about this earlier. My mom said maybe I shouldn't have planted on the brakes. I also think the car swung into the guardrail because I was already counter steering to try and save the spin out. Once the tires caught traction again with the wheels turned, it sent me straight into the wall.

It is what it is though. Everything happened so fast. I kept replaying the situation in my mind all night to see if there was any way this could have been avoided. I'm really glad that I am ok. I walked away completely uninjured. If the car flipped over I would have **** myself...lol

Thanks Marcus. I'm doing well just a little sad still to see my baby g all smashed up.

I'm starting to learn my lesson with modded cars though, especially this being my 4th money pit in the past couple years. I think it's time for me to cool off with the mods and just keep my next car stock

i drove from sacramento to san fran this morning and that by FAR the scariest driving i've ever done hands down. I totally understand how that could happen. I've never been so happy to put a car in park and get out of it off a road. Glad to see your OK though thats what counts.

Ummmm....yeah. These guys are no different than the guys that give estimates at a body shop. They know what's repairable and what's not repairable. It's their job to keep body shops honest. Have you never had a wreck before

VDC isn't going to save you if you're hydroplaning or sliding on a very slick surface like a street covered in slick snow, ice, or one that hasn't seen rain in weeks.

This is just one of many instances where someone was going too fast for the conditions. We're all guilty of this. Some are lucky and some aren't.
