Dies after ignition-solution
A couple days ago I took off the battery terminal to attempt to fix my radio (CD ERR FO) problem.
After replacing the battery back and starting the car, she would die right after ignition...unless i gave her a lil gas from initial start.
I looked on the forums for a solution and I came upon two: RESET THE IDLE POSITION AND CLEAN OUT THE THROTTLE BODY. Upon reseting the idle position, the G starts fine when its cold. BUT the problem comes back when the she warms up. I then cleaned out the TB and the problem is ultimately fixed.
Long story short, when the reset does not work, clean the TB and you should be set. thought id share my experience

nha man...the bose systems are not only POS they are almost practically impossible to break open. I have one stuck cd in there that makes the HU tick upon ignition...learned to accept it but still would like to take the CD out...
my suggestion is-dont even bother fixing the unit...use it as an excuse to save up to buy an aftermarket HU that you know FOR SURE wont crap out randomly like the bose system does

Some use brake cleaner but I used carb cleaner from Autozone and a toothbrush.
Afterwards, hit the inside with some wd40...then wipe it all done with a microfiber cloth
If u want to get **** about everything, make sure that All contact points from every piece (TB-air filter) is clean, residue free and with A guranteed seal
The person I got the car from didn't do any cleanup maintenance and caused a massive buildup of sh*t I'n the TB...as u can see from the pics above
