Yea the exhaust wasnt finished until today so in order to get on and off the lift i left the coilovers at stock height and since we didnt get to nashville motor speedway till 7 on firday and cut off time for set up was 5 we had to get there and wet up at 4:30 am on sat and still didnt have time to lower it oh well the point was to show off the bay and the harness we make at www.chasebays.com
The LS3 E-Rod motor you mentioned on my350z is emissions legal. Even has the EVAP system. And it's less than 8k for 400whp and less without the stock cats and headers.
Forget a TT kit on stock block VQ35DE. LS swap it is.
All is needed is the motor and transmission mounts, clutch and brakes, dash, fans, fuel, and it's ready to drive.
6.2-liter LS3 crate engine, rated at 430 horsepower and 424 lb.-ft. of torque
Engine wiring harness
Engine control module with emissions-legal calibration
Catalytic converters
Exhaust manifolds
Oxygen sensors and sensor bosses
Fuel tank evaporative emissions canister
Air filter
Mass airflow sensor and sensor boss
Accelerator pedal (for use with the LS3s electronic throttle)
Instruction manual
430 horse
376 cubes
24-month 50,000 mile GMPP parts and labor warranty

In some states it will pass without cats like in GA as long as there is no check engine light for it. Mine passes and it didn't have cats in 2 years. Plus they would clog since it burns a lot of oil.
I wanna hear this thing lol
Really depends on where you get the motor and trans from. Sometimes you can get lucky and find LS1/2/3 and so on swaps for super cheap. I prob spent around 14k but i got a bunch of stuff that i didnt need. LCD cluster, Status seat, new wheels, cam, headstuds, NO2 kit, Fast 102 TB and intake manifold. Budget friendly i think you can get away with 5,000-8,000 depending on what you can find a motor for. Think what a shop will charge you per hr to install a good twin turbo kit plus the price of the kit , with supporting mods like fuel pump ect you get to about the same price.
