Well the 317s are lower compression. With my current heads and setup I should be at 10.5. I may swap to 317s when I boost.

Dude I would love to hit 80mph at 1.5k

im running the stock gears until i figure out what type of motorsport i want to go into.

Right now running a 3.5 inlet and offset outlet muffler with a turn down and with as low as i was before there is no chance i only have a finger gap between the muffler and the cement so i broke down and ordered a custom y pipe and spin tech pro street 9000 series muffler that is only 4x6x9 today should be a tad louder but not going to kill me loud. Running at 1800 at 80 isn't bad at all i still have the TQ to pass anything. Will be setting up the NO2 kit this weekend and hope to have some pulls soon 200 shot or bust!!!! @g35 papa you have no idea mash throttle and a huge grin follows, I'm putting down what un built boosted cars put down and I'm still NA . @Lordflappington 317's are the best flowing heads for boost from what i know but don't quote me on that. Still learning my LSX stuff day by day ill try and get some more videos this weekend of some side way action.

That's it, taking the kid out of private school and doing this swap!

How does it handle can you feel the extra weight in the front?

AFR makes the best flowing heads in my opinion look into the afr205 or 225s
Trickflow is another manufacturer to look at.

Both are above 1k per head though lol and if you want to boost you want chamber size to be around 72cc such as the 317s

I guess they were to busy wrecking their 1400hp z06 at the texas mile :P. Sikky and Assaultech.com were great people to deal with on getting shipping super fast and answering any questions that i had. The only reason i went with the datamaxx cluster is but the time you spend the money to have the electronics hinson offers you still dont have a tach and you will spend almost what you can get a stack cluster for but computech racing pulled through with a whole system that datalogs EVERYTHING!!! that way i dont have to use the nissan ecu for anything and can just pull it out or leave it in doesnt matter.
Hey brew I was on computechs website and I saw the data logger do you have to buy that too inorder for that cluster to work?is the datalogger the thing that replaces the ls and Nissan ecu?

You don't have to buy it i chose to because I did NO2 and will be adding a large snail to it here shortly. This unit just helps eliminating the need for extra gauges and stuff that will not function correctly with the swap. The data logger is the unit that records all the information from the motor so you can go back through runs and laps and look at exactly what everything is doing so you can go back and adjust and fine tune your setup

Ah I see.
I want do this swap soon due to OC issues with my vq but the most I ever did was change breaks and oil lol so I'm trying to find a shop that's able to do this for me once i get all the parts.

Im from Birmingham AL. There are a couple of shops that can do the work. I would charge 75$ a hr for install and fab work for the exhaust and what not. Thats what most shops charge.
