Should a had a V8, Brew__HAHA's LSX Swap
the lq4 I built with a friend made 570hp and weighed a bit over 350lbs with aluminum heads. and ls1/2/3/6/7 would end up being less by about 30-40 pounds. not to mention that the weight in an ls/lq engine has a lower center of gravity than the overhead cam engine that come stock in the car. might be more forward weight in the car, but it's definitely lower
Ill be at ZdayZ at Deals Gap, Import face off, Import alliance in July at nashville motor speed ways we will have a booth set up in the Covered Garages

RAWWRRR!!!!!!! Motors in!!!
I cant explain how easy this motor and tranny went it seriously 15-20 min to bolt up the motor mounts, trans mount, and Aluminum Drive shaft. Sikky has made a great swap kit with parts that fit and all the correct hardware for mounting.
Headers water pump and all accessories being put on tonight.
Hope to have chasebays come over and drop off the custom Mil-Spec wiring harness and have this thing running this up coming week.
Still have a lot to do to make it to Zdayz, exhaust and tune etc.
If you have any questions or need anything else let me know.
Thanks,

yea every time i walk into the garage i get a semi. I should have some more pics up this weekend. Re mounting the rad support putting fluids in and holding chase @ chase bays at gun point so he will hurry up with wiring and PS lines and a fuel return line back to the tank. This thing still needs a exhaust and tuned and paint by the 19th :0

This is so awesome. I would love to do this, but I'm afraid I would miss the OEM exhaust note too much. I really was drawn to this car solely for that (and that rear 3/4 view)
.
My friend has a C5Z and the sound is great. Hard decision, and to see people's faces when your G sounds like a Z06?
Is it just me or is an A/C line running to the oil pan?
