Got the motor back in after having to remove the rear header bolts got broken guess i wont be using those engine builders again.

Test fit and notched the factory fan shroud for water pump clearance. Now test fitting and fabricating a intake and water hoses.

Love the swap already. Power Should be tremendous as is, couldnt imagine a SC or turbo set-up!! Did notice your current brake set up in earlier post. Big plans on how you gonna slow this b$&@# down? Looking forward to your final product. Great job so far.

So I'm coming to Zdayz, my cousin is coming and bringing his 350Z and our friend is coming and was SUPPOSED to be bringing his 88 300zx... yeah, now he wants to just ride with me because the bushings on his steering rack are worn

I really hope you get everything ready in time, because I'm going to use your example and tell him "This guy did an entire engine swap and made it, and you let 3 little bushings hold you back!"

Just a question when this is done what all will still work? Will the abs and a/c and airbags still work? Can this can still be a dd or will it lose it's g'ness in the swap. What are you doing about the drive by wire? Awesome swap btw!

Ok to answer some questions.
I was going to use the stock radiator, but Chasebays.com who is doing the wiring harness offers a half radiator that will give me more room to run turbo piping when i decide to do boost in the next couple of months.

You still have ABS, and Airbags those run separate from the ECU. In order to keep AC you must have custom lines made, after searching around for a bit iv found someone what can have lines made for 75$ each you need the high and low side. You will loose traction control. Drive by wire pedal is being replaced with a 240 gas pedal. Most people that do this swap just use the pedal assembly out of the GTO if they keep drive by wire.

NFSP - canceling the room for Zdayz today , After getting some things done this weekend and running into some problems with getting the wrong CJM Fuel correction kit it wont be making it. Also decided to change the radiator setup but the fuel system stuff will not be made and shipped out in time to make it.

If you have any questions or need anything else let me know.
Thanks,
-Logan

Rowdy rowdy. I've been considering this swap for some time now(in a sedan), although LSX is too rich for my blood. I'm glad to hear the sikky stuff is worthy of the price, I wonder how long it'll be til the Chinese starts stamping off copies of the parts.

Either which way, the thing looks epic. Make power, get it sideways.
