Red face First Timer..Buying 20" rims in a week. Do not know if they will fit.

Hey guys.. this my first time posting a thread on g35driver. been on it for a couple of months now. So i hve a 03 G35 sedan (Black Obsidian). warm weather is almost here so im gettin sme new rims. I wuz checkin out the Pinnacle (Poison) machined black with chrome. size is 20x8.5 (Front) Tires [245/35/19] and 20x10 (Rear) Tires [275/35/19]. Can i get some help if they will fit. Guy at the store says they will but im sure they wanna make sme $$. Ive been chekin out other threads and seems mite have sme trouble. Maybe go with 30 series tires. So i can put springs and lower the ride a bit. Also is it still possible to get the Nismo kit. Im in Canada. Thnx.

do you know the offsets? i would get 225/35/20 for front and 275/30/20 for the rear

and the only way you are going tp get a nismo kit is

1. steal one
2. luckily find someone selling one (not likely)
3. get the look alikes from venders on here which are very good quality

Im gnna find out about the offset. the package is 1600$ w/installation. Seems like a good price. Would i have to lower the car after installation because the ride height might be higher and look like a 4x4?

Lower the car first and get it to your desired ride height then get your wheels.

You definitely need to know the offsets of those wheels to know if they are going to fit with those tire sizes or not.

Not sure what your budget is but if you can spend a bit more you can get a much nicer set of wheels used in the Marketplace here. Those wheels on a G just don't flow at all IMO.

As for the Nismo kit, you can get a replica Nismo front from hikatta dori or dustin@strafeautomotive. You should be able to get a set of authentic Nismo sides from 19kdrill. You can pick up a replica Nismo rear lip from Ionic.

The front will fit no problem, the rear will require you to roll the fender a little.
I am running 19x10 +45 (275/35/19) with my fenders rolled. I have a little room left so I might add a 5mm spacer.

Oh and yes lower it first.

Please don't buy Pinnacle wheels. I had 20" Pinnacle Shift wheels on my Lincoln LS. Complete trash. I had to replace 3 of them in the 15 months I had my car because they would crack in spots and lose air. Terribly made wheel from my experience. And to answer this: no the roads in my town are not bad, there are a couple pot holes here and there but never hit any pothole where I thought "WOW, that was a crater." The wheels were just so weak

Listen to Marcus(candlestick). It will save you lots of money and time. If you want to make your car look clean, in my opinion, say no to those rims.
