No resonator delete for me. 350z midpipe?

So i took off the resonator just to see what it would sound like and I hated it, too much rasp for such a classy car.

So I am looking for a 350z midpipe in canada, (let me know if you want to sell one. ) I am aware that it will need a 6" extension.

My question is should i get a 350z or a coupe y-pipe as well? will it give another great bonus to the sound?

Why not just get a Coupe midpipe, that way you won't have to add an extension for it to fit on your car. Its a direct bolt on.

If you are looking for an alternative y-pipe, look for a 350z HR Y-pipe. Will add a deeper sound to the exhaust note.

I have been reading reviews and the 350z midpipe seems to be giving people better results. have i been mislead?

I've never heard that. Better results in terms of what, sound?

Yes, it apparently gives a deeper more aggressive sound?

You seem to be confusing the mid- and y-pipe from the 350z. Z and coupe mids are the same except for length so the Z is not superior, and the coupe just bolts right on (but can be harder to find).

so coupe middy and z y-pipe would give the best results?

Yes, but you need to get the HR Y-pipe, which came off of the 07-08 350Z's with the HR motor. If you get any other year Y-pipe from the 350Z, it'll essentially be the same as our stock Y-pipes.

The one I bought had to be pulled open a little cause it didn't exactly line up with the cats for some reason it was a bit narrow
