Somebody broke my window to steal my radar detector, and they bent the trim around it, I guess while trying to get in.
I don't know if any of you guys had to deal with this, but any advice would be welcome.
Is my only choice going to the dealership and getting new parts?
(Already replaced the window)

if you went thru insurance then have ur insurance pay for new trim. It's pricey as fawk.

 

Sorry to hear this happen to me too... Except only the black trim piece was damaged.. now there is a small rust spot thought! argh.....

Sucks, because they did not even steal anything from me.. In order for theives to break windows quietly they place a screwdriver inbetween the window and trim, then apply pressure.. this shatters the glass. jerks.

 

I didn't go through insurance, but now I have the feeling that I should have... Looks like $500 of damage ...
