Well, the coupe's premium package A does not include the intelligent key, and premium package B and C is only available to the Sedan, according to the sales person.

You also dont need to press the unlock/lock button on the handle before you get in.

The intelligent key is linked to the memory seats.

WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean why in the name of everything good did Infiniti deny the Coupe and 6MT Sedan the Intel key? Does the transmission really effect the overall system THAT much?

If I am thinking about this sensibley, I would guess that the lock-out function on the Auto transmission must be a concern to the Intel Key system...but STILL, WHY?

No the transmission shouldn't make that much of a difference. I know that all new corvette's have an intelligent key, including 6MT's. Also, I believe that the new bmw 5 series offers an I key on all of it's vehicles in the lineup with or without the auto transmission. So why can't infiniti just put it on the ^MT and why not offer it on the coupes. Does anyone think the coupes will be recieving this feature any time soon?

I have an 05 G and the intelligent key does not correspond to any of the settings for the seat, mirrors or radio.

Also, I use my key fob regularly b/c I want my car unlocked when I get to it and I don't want my passengers to have to wait for me to get to the car, unlock my door and then theirs. Other than that, I never use my key. It is great to jump in the car and go.

Has this been confirmed?
I can confirm that. I have a 05 Sedan 6MT with the Premium package, and it does not come with Intelligent Key.

I really like how the key looks. Damn its much smaller and cooler than the normal one. I will be so gelouse the day the Coupe gets that key. For now, I rather have my 04 coupe than 05 sedan or coupe. While I like the interior of the 05 and the bigger nav screen, I hate the new rims and the fact that no brembos are available.
