Clean sedan, perfect wheel fitment, great engine! Awesome job!
The 2JZ does not cost alot to be able to make BIG power. A stock block can handle a reliable 700-800 hp if done properly. Change the internals and you can make even more. The 2JZ as well has a bigger displacement of 3 liters or 3.4 on a stroker kit.

As the rb26 is a fantastic detuned race engine it just doesnt have the oooMPffff that the 2JZ engine does. There also is a factor the legal system that comes into play.

RB23, RB24,RB25 are all legal i think in the United States. The RB26 however is an illegal engine in some states, as this came from the legendary
R34 Skyline GTR which was never put into production or shipped to the states because it did not meet the saftey requirments. Some states will let that go, like California, Georgia, Flordia, and a few others. Most likely tho if you get pulled over or when you go in for emmisons testing, they wont have a clue what they are looking at. Now The 2JZ has none of those problems because they "were" brought over to the US. lol plain and simple.

Now there is a company who does full new RB26, and Rb30's They also have the worlds first RB33. here is there site.

I know more about supras and GTRs than infinities, but im only 17 so i can use what i have for now and swap engines later

Quick off topic question. I won't believe you would do an entire engine swap without having some background on engines so can you give me any clue what this noise might be.

Thanks anything would be a step closer.

I got a headache after watching that video. You really shouldn't move the camera around that much.

my guess is flywheel....ive also ran into the starter not disengaging all the way and hitting the flywheel but you should really start your own thread in the tech section.

^^ Thanks for the tip! I said the same thing one but was told the RL has some weird drive disc converter thing.... I had it fixed before too. I was considering getting a new engine but was like mehhh 2 3.5l v6s is too much ill rather get a 4 banger just for gas or a bike. I'll post this in the tech section and see what I can get......tried a honda/acura forum and well 3 comments later and your post is basically old news and never gets any attention.

you said you got brand new CCW's and 11 front and 12 rear ?? what are the off-sets please cause i really want to know ??? what kinda fender work do you have and what camber are you running ???

and your tire sizes are 225/40/18 F and 245/40/18 R Tires.....

from the pictures the 245/40 on the 12 correct ???? would it be a bigger stretch then the picture ??? i have a 245/35 on a 10.5 and its stretched pretty good imo ..

need more info please and specs of wheels

... also your rear fenders are cut from the picture posted on page 1 and they are not pulled ...... so how are you fitting a 18x12 out back when i have my fenders cut the same and have a 10.5 with demon **** camber out back ??????

edit : this is a 245/40/18 - 18x12 wheel .. and from your picture its no wear NEAR this kinda stretch & im not even going to post a picture of a 225/40 on a 11 cause yea i dont know ... lol
