New Member....My G35 Sedan 2JZ Build
Nice build =).
I feel awkward though, personally, with a Toyota engine in a Nissan car =/, but still...nice car deserving of respect.
With regard to RB26 VS 2JZ, either option is not street legal--the engine must be the same manufacturer as the new host car (i.e. Nissan) and have a manufactured date the same as or newer than the new host car.

Agreed...that's not even true of some modern cars.
Some mitsubishi's feature dodge built engines, and vice versa. Another example is the Lotus Elise, featuring a Toyota Celica engine.
The part about it being the same year or newer does however apply in most situations.

wow, you guys are really misinterpreting that post. he's saying where he's at it's illegal, who's cares if it's legal where you are? as for the same engine manufacturer, yeah any car company can put what ever engine they want in their cars but YOU cannot. seriously guys
