Had my heart ripped out today!

I sold my G35 Sedan today! I'm gonna miss the car and the group on G35 Driver. I'll still come and visit. Thanks for all the help. The person who bought it is 17 years old. Must be nice. He seems like a good kid.

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

Two cars! Not only one car can replace the mighty G35.

Car #1 for commuting a 2000 Honda Insight. (One of those silly Hybrids)

Car #2 is TBD.

If you felt this way about your G35, why did you sell it?

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

I think the answer to this question can be found in his car choice #1.

G loves to drink the gas. I'm also thinking about getting a hybrid for everyday and SR-powered 240sx for weekend fun.

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

$500.00 per month of gasoline gets old real fast.

I'm still thinking of car #2, any suggestions? I was thinking CRX ro something like that to AutoX.

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

Talk about a mistake! (Sorry)

But if you're buying 2 cars to replace the G and one is a late model hybrid (not cheap). Then you should have kept your G and baught a used Civic for your commute. Then you would have the best of both worlds.

My $.02

6speed,

Try to find Corrado G60 that is still alive. This car kicks butt for autocross.
I hear your pain as far as gas. $380 last month.

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

Mike,

You cant be serious... You were haulin *** at Buttonwillow just a little while ago?...

Anyways I am sorry to hear that. I hope good fortune comes your way. Mabey we could go out on the track again. =P

What ever you do don't buy a VW GTI. They can burn down to a melted blob while on the track. Either way, you're much better off than the poor guy who burned this uninsured GTI at Buttonwillow.

Good Luck!

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

I hear those M30 and Q30 are good sports cars if you want to stay in the Infiniti company or a good I30T with upgraded suspension would be a fine autoX car.

Re: Had my heart ripped out today!

Just reread your post and am curious. Is this outrageous gas bill from your long commute or from AutoCrossing? $500 is not a gas bill, it's another car payment.

Sorry for your loss.
