Random but would anyone want to give a call and chat about fitment?

If you do like the wheels, get them and get the appropriate drop to have them fit right.
However, only you can define how 'moderate' of a drop to your liking.
I think Blue Dream hit the nail in the head twice with his prior post putting into perspective concerning ride and fitment. So propz to him.

Thanks man^

OP if you want a semi aggressive set up in the rear that pokes the rim out a little but forcing you to run neg camber then the wheels will work for you. If you don't want to go that aggressive get something with higher offsets. My wheels are 8.5 +23 up front and 9.5 +33 in the back. Here's the best picture I have to show my fitment. Rears sit just outside the fender line and the fronts need to come out another 5 mm to be flush.

regardless 35-40 series tires he need a moderate drop camber arms " i would do toe while your doing the camber its easy" and 9.5+20 he is going to be more then your 1.9º which i stated he will be somewhere in the -2º+ with fenders rolled flatt

dont listen to Tims crazy self he made a DOUBLE POST and got -40 Experience points

but in the end we were both right but i didn't state to do 40 series and made a un true statement i take that back

no you can get them .. they are not bad at all ... you can always throw a little spacer up front or what not up to you ... i ran a 8.5+20 and 9.5+30 with a 265 out back for a nice meaty tire and looked great .. its ALL up to you and how you want your car to look . sunk, flush, poke you name it, we can set up you for it :-)

OP, I have almost the exact same set-up that your considering. I'll post up some pics in a few days once my install is done. My Work CR Emotion fronts are 18x8.5 +20 w/ 225/45 tires, rears are 18x9.5 +20 w/ 245/45 tires.

I'm installing my coilovers this weekend and am hoping to have everything done by Tuesday. My rear fenders are rolled, but not compeletly flat. I will be installing SPC toe bolts and Megan Racing rear camber arms also.

I agree with SNOOP that 2+ degrees of camber are going to be needed. I'm thinking of a 2" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear, nothing too crazy.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Yea mikedg if you could post those pictures that would be great.

So here is my current thoughts and ideas. I absolutely love the wheels and want them. The car only has 65K on it and still need to keep it for a daily driver status. So the h tech's are perfect in my opinion. So that's about a 1 inch drop with no camber. That's the perfect height for my situation. With that said I don't think I can pull off the cr kai's I was looking at. It would probably be sticking out about half inch or so in the rear. I'd need to go with coilovers and a lot more camber to get them to fit. Correct me if I'm wrong for the h tech setup.

So I guess what I'm back the drawing board with the target of 18X8 et35 or something in the et 40 range for a larger width to have it fit properly with no additional camber.

Heres my current set-up. I need to drop the front a little more, but I'm happy with the rear. I haven't installed the rear camber arms and toe bolts yet. It seems to clear ok as it is, so I might not even need the camber arms.

Blue Dream = Perfect fitment (IMHO)

That's looking pretty good. What's your current suspension? Can't wait to see it on coils!

Wow man thanks! That means a lot to me. I think I need to go to a 20mm spacer up front from the 15 I currently have to get the front tires as close to the fender as the rears are. I have a hard time putting 2 credit cards together and sliding them between the sidewall and the fender. And it doesn't rub ever.

Rear is looking good MikeDG.
IMHO I believe Tim's drop is perfect for DD without the headache/heartache.
At least around here with these stupid hills, dips, potholes, etc.

I've gotta agree. I did have to adjust my thought process on how to drive a little and change a couple of things, but overall I'm good with daily driving. My brother rode in the car this week for the first time with the coils. He's a huge car buff (has a chipped and pullied 03 Cobra) and says the G rides smoother and better than stock. He's also amazed I don't rub in the rear it's so tight (no homo of course )

The car looks great mikedg. I might actaully reconsider and go for a test fit. Is that how much of a poke I can expect from my wheel setup?

If that's the case, with a inch inch drop that maybe perfect for me.

IIRC the front wheels you were considering are +25 offset. Mine are +20, so yours would not quite poke out as much.

The rears are the the same specs so it would be about the same amount of poke. Honestly, I'm not sure if a 1" drop would give you enough camber for the rear wheels. You'll need a fender roll and might need camber arms to dial in a little more negative camber.
