I have the highest mileage G35 on here.. possibly the planet. So it should go to say that yes oil changes at these intervals equate to longer span of engine life.

2005 G35x just rolled over 208k

I have learned so much working on this fantastic car, became addicted since my first oil change

06 sedan 6speed 116400k. driven some 21000 miles. Clutch, flywheel,front axle parts, propeller shaft.
Putting new cat.conv. Magnaflow and Tanabe Y-pipe.

Purchased from my dad at 180k who did mostly highway driving and took it to the dealer for everything

This is when my G35 was reborn
I replaced plugs. All fluids- brake, power steering, coolant, differential(this is when I saw I had a rear main seal leak -$800), too scared to change transmission fluid at this mileage, and switched to penzoil high mileage & purolator pure one every 3k.
The G loves air flow so installed ztube with k&n. Motordyne 5/16 spacer and magnaflow catback
This weekend just saved myself $900 when the dealer wanted to replace my driver power seat rail when all it needed was a new gear for $20 and 30min of my time
